WPI INTERCONNECT PRODUCTS ACQUIRES WENCO INC. |
Salem, NJ-WPI Interconnect Products (WPI) has acquired, in an asset transaction, Wenco Inc., a manufacturer of heavy-duty transportation wire harnesses for the automotive and trucking industries. Manufacturing operations will be located in WPI's Sarasota, Fla. division.
Wenco has been in business for over 70 years, producing federally compliant main harnesses, auxiliary leads for cabinet lighting and accessory power, as well as related assemblies, including in-cab control panels.
WPI Sarasota manufactures custom cable and fiber optic assemblies and wire harnesses for the commercial, industrial and military markets.
